SomeoneBuilt

Terms

Last updated: 9 September 2026

SomeoneBuilt is a catalog of Windows and Mac desktop tools. Each tool page is meant to show who built it — a name, a profile picture, and enough about them to build trust. The picture can be the person or a suitable mark that stands for them.

You need an account to submit a listing and to edit one later. Creating an account is not a purchase. Anyone can browse the catalog, tool pages, and maker pages.

If you join, we may email that address about SomeoneBuilt, review decisions, and account confirmations.

Listings you send stay off the public desk until they are approved. Updates to a live listing also wait for review. The tools remain the maker’s. SomeoneBuilt is the catalog, not the vendor, unless a page says otherwise.

Hearts and thumbs are one per account per tool. The operator may hide a listing. That is not automatic.

Do not scrape the site, flood forms, or otherwise abuse it. Do not submit tools you do not have the right to list.

The site is provided as-is, without a warranty that it will stay up.
